ALDI COUNTDOWN TO NEW YEAR ADVENT CALENDAR

I was kindly gifted the Aldi countdown to new year advent calendar for my birthday from a relative and I thought I would share what's inside and write a review of the products. I've never had a beauty advent calendar before as I think they're very over priced for what you get I can't understand why some cost over £100 it's ridiculous! but this one is within budget.

Bitter Orange Perfume No 10 15ml
I liked the orange scent of this but you don't need to spray much as it lasts a while. The size is good for on the go as it's small. I don't know if you can buy this full sized or if it was just for the advent calendar. It looks like a Jo Malone dupe which is good if you're on a budget.

Healthy Glow Rose Oil 25ml
I've never used a face oil before so I was keen to give this ago. I don't normally like rose scented things but this was nice and wasn't strong. A little goes along way which is why you only need 2-3 drops. I used it everyday and it made my skin feel soft and smooth and it didn't irritate it. This is a moisturising oil which is great for sensitive skin and it leaves your skin smelling of fresh rose!. I'm not sure I'd go out and buy one or any other one face oil.

Healthy Glow Retinol Tonic 75ml
I've wanted to try this ever since I knew Aldi made one but I don't get there very often so I was pleased there was a little version in my advent calendar!. This smells nice and leaves skin feeling clean and fresh. I would definitely buy this in full size if I get to Aldi anytime soon. This tonic contains retinol and jasmine flower which is a nice floral scent but not too strong. I used it either in the morning or night but not both as it states no more than once daily.

Golden Glow Face Mask 50ml
This is actually gold with glitter in it looks so pretty! the smell is nice and not too strong. It saids it's for all skin types but it could still irritate so if this does then remove quickly. I have sensitive skin so sometimes products don't agree with my skin. This face mask felt ok on my skin, went on easily with a makeup brush! it's left on for 15 minutes and you put it on areas you want to brighten and remove with a clean cloth and warm water.

Gentle Facial Moisturiser 50ml
I normally use simple rich moisturiser but I liked this one it felt nice on my skin and soaked in well. This contains eucalyptus oil, vitamin E and rosemary extracts which is a nice fresh scent and not over powering. This leaves skin feeling smooth and soft and doesn't feel sticky or heavy like some products do.

Pink Clay Hot Cloth Cleanser 75ml
I've used this cleanser before as I had the bigger tube but still thought I'd put it in this post. It smells nice and removes makeup well. It leaves skin feeling clean and fresh and it even came with a cloth!.

Overall I would purchase this myself if they ever have it again and I get to an Aldi!.
