BLOGTOBER: A ROUND UP

It's the end of blogtober and I am actually sad! although I'm also glad because posting everyday was hard but I'm super proud I managed to post content for all 31 days. I found thinking of ideas tricky nearer to the end because I'd either done them and I didn't want to post anything I wasn't happy with.

I wanted to post positive content and not any negative posts because I want my blog to be a positive place. I did see a few ideas such as why I don't like autumn but I didn't want to come across as a negative Nancy!.

I just want to say thank you for reading my blogtober content for this month my stats have been really good so thank you!. I wasn't expecting them to be so high but yay!. I got a couple of comments in the whole time I posted which I will take and run! because I rarely get any.

I hope you've enjoyed my content for blogtober as much as I have.

They'll be normal content from the 1/11/18.

BLOGTOBER: 5 WAYS TO CHEER UP

Today's post is 5 ways to cheer up if you're feeling down about things whether that be being unemployed or your relationship ending or you're having one of those days. We all need cheering up at some point so I'm sharing 5 ways to help.

Music.
Make a playlist on Spotify or your music collection on your phone or computer of feel good songs that will guarantee to make you feel better and more positive! You could always have a dance too! that definitely helps.

Watch A Funny Film.
If you need a laugh then watch a funny film such as bride maids, despicable me (1-3, mamma mia here we go again.

Put On Your Favourite Outfit.
This is a good idea because it helps you to feel better and wearing certain clothes that make you happy is always a win! Mine is probably either a dress with tights (now it's colder!) but in summer it would be shorts, a nice t shirt and my favourite black pumps.

Cook Your Favourite Meal.
I like a good old roast dinner but if I'm being quicker than I'd probably have risotto or a nice beef and ale pie! I love cooking and I enjoy finding new recipes to try.

Buy Some Flowers.
Flowers are always nice to have in your house so go and pick some up from your local supermarket I recommend Lidl. There are some nice ones in there and they're so reasonably priced I picked up some Halloween ones for £4.

BLOGTOBER:WHAT JOB HUNTING HAS TAUGHT ME

Today's blogtober is what job hunting has taught me I hope you like this post and leave a comment I always reply.

1. Finding a job is hard when you have a disability.

2. Group interviews are very difficult and unfair.

3. Don't let job rejections bother you just think it's their loss.

4. Don't give up on yourself.

5. Interviews are hard when they ask difficult questions and also telephone interviews are tricky.

6. Job adverts are sometimes misleading.

7. You will see the same companies advertise many times.

8. Believe in yourself I know that's hard but something will come along.

9. You might not always get a reply because of the number of people who apply.

10. Job questionnaires are stupid and a unfair way of applying.

BLOGTOBER: AUTUMN PHOTO PROPS

Welcome to blogtober day 25 I only have 6 more to go anyway today's post is some of the things I use as photo props. What do you use? let me know in the comments I always reply.

Autumn Leaves.
I picked these up in the works in the craft section but you can use real ones if you want I think they add some colour to the photos are the right colours for this season. I can use them over and over which is good as you get 50 in the packet for £1.

Wooden Letters.
Again I picked these up in the works in the craft section these letters have sticky bits on the back which you can use for other things but I haven't removed them. I normally use them on my desk etc and spell out what I need. I do also use scrabble magnet letters on my cat light but I didn't have enough for this so I just sat wooden ones on it instead.

Lights.
These lights came from a charity shop but they originally came from tiger I don't think they cost much. I think lights make a photo look nicer and brighter and these ones are just the right size. They look good on my deer blanket.

BLOGTOBER: AUTUMN FASHION MUST HAVES

Wow I can't believe I've made it to blogtober day 22 anyway today's post is all about autumn fashion must haves!. I love this time of year for fashion there's so many nice things about! I'm a huge fan of anything mustard.

Checked Shirts
I love checked shirts and I own a lot! I either find them in Primark or the charity shop which I did on Friday!. I don't need them but I liked them so it's all good! and they go with jeans, boots, and leggings.

Jumpers
I'm the type of person who is always cold! so you'll find me in a jumper and I have many now so I should probably stop buying them but I won't! haha. I found a nice bright orange one from Tesco or I get them from Primark.

Boots
I love boots especially ankle boots I like wearing them with dresses for a nice going out look or for a more casual look I wear jeans. I like long boots to for maybe a going out look with a dress, boots go with most outfits which is good. I either wear jeans, a shirt and boots or a dress, tights and boots.

Let me know your fashion must haves this season.

BLOGTOBER: STATIONERY HAUL

It's very rare I find brand new stationery in a charity shop but on Friday I found these two bits I love stationery and own many notebooks I've not used yet just because they're too nice haha anyone else?

Anyway I was so chuffed when I found these and just had to have them I've wanted a clipboard note pad for a while but thought they were too expensive but this one was only £2.80 and the other marbled notebooks were £2.00.

I'm not really a marbled fan but I liked these notebooks and will definitely use them for future blog post planning or something else. They are a nice pattern and I like that the black one saids bucket list and the pinky one saids note it.
Like I said I've seen these a lot but I thought they were too expensive! but when I saw this in the charity shop I soon picked it up!. The pattern is funky and stands out which I like!, I also like that it comes with a pen! not many notebooks/note pads do. You never know what you might find in a charity shop so if you've never been in one then I recommend it.

BLOGTOBER: 3 YEARS OF BLOGGING

I made my blog in 2014 but I didn't really know what I was doing and so I have deleted the posts I had. I officially started in February 2015 (so this post is long over due!) I never did a one year post so I thought it was about time I did one so here is 3 years of blogging instead.

I am super proud of my blog and while I don't have a huge following or get many comments I am glad I made one. I enjoy sharing my beauty reviews, struggles with Fragile X and life updates. I hope to make it into something one day, maybe make money and work with brands but for now it's still my favourite hobby.

I think this speaks for every blogger but there are times when I struggle with content ideas and photos but I try not to beat myself up about it. I eventually find some ideas and get some inspiration from other bloggers/Pinterest etc.

I can't believe I've had my blog for 3 years! it's gone so quick and I am super proud (I know I've said that but I really am proud) of my little space on the Internet. I would like to meet new people and go to events but at the same time I'm not very social and come across as shy/quiet. Maybe one day I'll get to one I have been invited to some but I couldn't get there.

What I've Achieved-

First post-2015 Fragile X Syndrome.

March 2016- 10,000 views

October 2016- 20,000 views

April 2017- 30,000 views

January 2018- 40,000 views

September 2018- I reached 50,000 views (this still blows my mind!)

Sharing my struggles and experiences with having Fragile X Syndrome.

August 2018-I Received my first ever blogger mail from Soap and Glory! I still can't believe I got sent products!

Over 1,000 views on one of my Fragile X post most views I've had for a blog post!.

BLOGTOBER: AUTUMN PAMPERING

Today is blogtober 14 and today's post is autumn pampering essentials. What are yours? let me know in the comments.

This pineapple and coconut shower gel smells so fruity, fresh and makes lots of bubbles I use it as both shower gel and bubble bath because why not!?!. I love the bright yellow colour, it stands out and you feel like you're in Hawaii when using it!. I've got a few other flavours to try next

I'm not normally into face masks but I've recently got into using sheet ones and I love the brand Simple as I have sensitive skin. This one feels good on my skin, contains Vitamin B3, and antioxidant. It doesn't contain any harsh chemicals or perfumes which is good! I love Simple all round I use there moisturiser and micellar water. My skin feels fresh and moisturised after I've used it.

I love Soap and Glory products so I had to include this body milk it, it smells nice, rubs into skin well and leaves a nice scent. I use this after a bath or shower and my skin feels soft and moisturised. I love the packaging and the name of this body milk Soap and Glory always seem to have good names for their products.

BLOGTOBER: A RELAXING AUTUMN ACTIVITY

I've recently got back into colouring and I found this one at volunteering UNUSED! even if some were used then I'd have probably still bought it.  Anyway it has some really nice pictures to colour in and I can't wait to get started.
I love the bright cover it's very colourful which made me want to buy it!. You can still get this on Amazon for £9.99 if you're looking for a colouring book or you can get them from the works there's loads of different ones. I also got a nature one from Wilko which is good it has some nice pictures in to colour. Colouring is a good way to relax as it takes your mind off things it's been helping me as I have a lot of things happening lately. I enjoy getting cosy under a blanket and colouring for a little while.
