MY 2024 ROUND UP
I don't blog much anymore but I thought I'd write a 2024 round up I don't think people read blogs much anymore and I'm one of them but if this gets a few views then that's okay. I think overall 2024 has been good, some parts better than others but I am going to make sure I make 2025 even better!
January
The month started of with a job at a supermarket which I got through my employment helper this was a 4 week trail thing with the promise of employment but there wasn't a job at the end which was very annoying. I saw the Wonka film which was good, I went volunteering and not much else happened in January.
February
After the 4 week work trail ended I started looking for another job, I had a few meetings but they didn't lead to anything. I had an interview for a care home job as a kitchen assistant but I was unsuccessful.
March
I took part in more research, still plodding along with job hunting not much else happened this month.
April
Me and my mum went to a quilt exhibition with our neighbour, we went to cinnamon tree for my mums birthday and we went to Braintree village.
May
I voted, we went to Perry woods garden centre, I watched ride London go through the town, me and my mum went to the Green Dragon for a roast dinner.
June
Me and my mum went to Clacton on the bus, we had fish and chips, walked along the pier and the sea front. We had afternoon tea at Long Melford.
July
I went to music in the park with my mum, we went to Brightlingsea on the bus, we also went to Maldon both were good.
August
I went to Walton on the bus with my mum, we walked to Greenstead Green, work started on our new kitchen. We went to the bull for lunch and the Indian banquet.
September
I've been volunteering for a year, I started a confidence course which I've done before but thought I'd give it another go. Me and mum went to Sudbury on the bus which was good. I took part in more research, went to a jumble sale and had a roast dinner at the bull.
October
Me and my mum went on holiday to the Isle of Wight which was really good we stayed in Shanklin and the hotel was called the Shanklin hotel. We had bed, breakfast and dinner. We went out on excursions to the Needles, Ryde, Cowes and on our free day we looked around Shanklin. The weather was good, nice and sunny until the day home when it rained but that didn't matter.
November
I started going to a job club not much else happened this month.
December
Me and my mum went to a Christmas carol concert which was good.We went to the bull for a Christmas meal,we went to Appletree's for breakfast and whispers for my 34th birthday. We went round my sister's and her partner for festive afternoon tea.
Thanks for stopping by.

LIFE UPDATE
It's been a while since I've written a life update but as new things are happening,no I haven't got a job yet! I thought I'd share a update.
Befriend Service/Kinder Minds
I have started this new service to meet people and to hopefully make friends this was suggested to me by my jobcentre work coach. I have been to a couple of events which were chill and chat, a craft session and a mocktail class all of these were good.
Job Hunting
It's going okay I am getting help from another employment company I've had a lot of help from various places and none have got me a permanent job. I've also been on way too many courses and not really got anywhere. I have finished at Reed which was good they did help me but I didn't get a job! which I thought I would. I do feel a bit like I won't get a job but I am trying to be positive, even though it's hard sometimes.
Volunteering
I gave up volunteering at the Empire theatre because there wasn't enough to do and no one there who was my age. I don't want to be volunteering anymore, while it's good and helps with confidence I just want a paid job.
Thanks for reading.

A LONG OVERDUE CHAT
It's been a while since I've written in my blog I lost interest and I kind of still have but thought I'd write this post I'm not sure if there will be more blog posts after this one but we'll see.
What I've Been Doing
April I went to York with my sister for a few nights we went on a boat, walked along York walls, ate nice food and stayed in a nice hotel.
May me and my parents went to the Ipswich to Felixstowe transport run on our relatives old bus it was a good day out looking at old vehicles and going to the beach for fish and chips.
June me and my family went to the Tendering show it was a good day out, very hot and busy! we saw bird of prey show, I held an owl, we saw goats, chickens and sheep. There was lots there so can't name everything but it was a great day out.
July me and my mum stayed at Mersea for a few nights in a caravan it was good to get a change of scenery and get away for a few nights. We walked along the beach and I took some beach photos, we had food in the boathouse on site and spent time in the caravan.
Job Hunting
I'm still unemployed💩 and tbh I don't think I'll ever get a job and I'll be stuck on UC forever which is just massive pants. I just feel like I'm going round in circles and getting nowhere at all I know things have become harder since the pandemic but I don't know what to do anymore. I am bored of everyone saying something will come along because it clearly isn't, I am fed up of job hunting and seeing the same old jobs and I am even more fed up of going to the jobcentre where I've been going since I was on JSA urghhh. Why does job hunting have to be so hard? how do other people get jobs so easily? how do people with disabilities get jobs so easily? why can't I? It's all so unfair I've been trying for so long now and I honestly will give up.(don't say don't give up because it's very tedious now)
Thanks for reading my update I might be back soon.

JANUARY
When people say January is a miserable month I think they're being ridiculous! it's only a miserable month if you make it miserable but I put on my positive pants and made it as positive as I could. Here is a round up on how my January went. I got my covid booster jab but I was sick, felt really tired and slept a lot obviously that's not positive but at least I had it done. I went on a few walks but not far as it's too muddy at the moment. I bought a new winter coat as mine was really old and falling apart, I also bought a bookcase and a pink storage trolley. I started a 2022 scrapbook of memories as I did some during 2020. I started a new work programme even though I was adamant I wouldn't but maybe it'll be helpful. I found a new YouTuber to watch Shannan Lorraine and I watched some true crime shows on Netflix. Overall I had a good month and I feel positive.
