Today's post is all the things I've been loving during lockdown! What have you been enjoying? let me know!. I would never have bought things online if it weren't for lockdown so I am kinda glad for that!.
Sweets
Foam mushrooms are my favourite! I found some similar ones in the Co op but not quite the same!. Anyway I ordered pick n mix online which was okay I first go the anything mix and then from somewhere else I picked my own but it wasn't as good. It was expensive and I probably won't do it again. So I bought some little packets of sweets from Lidl and the co op and put them in a bowl and hey presto pick n mix!. I got shrimps and bananas, rainbow tubes, dolly mixtures and mushrooms.
Daisy Dress
I saw this online from new look and just had to buy it, I love the daisy print and the colour blue! it's perfect for summer and really light weight and comfy. It cost £20 which is pretty good! it's a nice length and can be worn with pumps or sandals.
The Weather/Walks
The weather has helped a lot! with going for many walks and sitting outside in the garden but it has been too hot on some days. I have enjoyed finding new places to walk, taking photos and getting some printed for my scrapbook.
Play Bus T-shirt
The first time I ordered from Truffle Shuffle and I bought a play days t shirt! as I loved watching playdays as a child it was a good show. There's so many other t-shirts I could buy on there but can't buy them all!. Well maybe one day!.
The Crime Book
I found this in the middle of Lidl and it's right up my street! i love all things true crime so I'm glad I found this. It was only £4.99 and on amazon it's £14! I don't read books very often I
prefer magazines but I enjoyed this one. Also when you borrow library
books you're under pressure to read them which I don't like.
Thanks for reading.
Love this post! I'm about to write my lockdown favourites and came across your blog Totally agree with the pick n mix - I ordered some for my dad for Father's Day and was so jealous that I didn't get myself any so since then I've been looking in different supermarkets for it. Really, I just want flying saucers but the only place I've found them is in ASDA where they're part of a pic n mix pot (only have about 4 flying saucers though) Love the idea of buying different sweets and putting them in a bowl - why didn't I think of that? P.S the dress looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThankyou for your comment :) It was expensive just for sweets I wouldn't buy them again but I thought I'd give it a try as we're in lockdown!. The best way is to buy some in packets and do it that way! I love flying saucers too! thank you I love the colour! :)
