ESSENCE BASE MAKEUP: FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Today I am sharing my first impressions on 4 essence makeup products that I picked up in Wilko.
Stay All Day 16h Long Lasting Foundation 08 Soft Vanilla £3.80
My first impressions of this foundation are that it blended easily, didn't look cakey and matched my skin tone. It has high coverage and provides a flawless and matte complexion and lasts all day. It's free from silicones, microplastic particles and oils. It's also waterproof
Camouflage Matt Concealer 10 Light Rose £2.80
This concealer gives good coverage, blends easily and lasts all day. It covers dark circles, blemishes and tattoos but I don't have any so not sure about that.
Hydrating Skin Refreshing Primer £3.50
I'm quite picky with primers and stick to the Rimmel fix and perfect blue lid one but I decided to give this essence one ago and so far I'm impressed. This is a hydrating lightweight primer that gives an extra kick of moisture. This primer is infused with coconut water and hyaluronic acid which provides your skin with 24h hydration. It also helps skin to feel refreshed and reenergized all day. This can be worn alone or under foundation.
Mattifying Compact Powder 10 Soft Beige £2.80
I normally get Rimmel transparent face powder but I thought I'd try this one as they didn't have the shade transparent. This shade works just as well it gave a nice finished look and didn't look cakey.
Thanks for reading.
