Today's post is all about why you should shop in charity shops and second hand.
Shopping in charity shops is worth doing because you never know what people might donate at the same time you're helping raise money for the charity. You're also helping clothes from going to landfill by giving them a new lease of life and a new home. There are times when I don't find anything and other times I find a few things so it is hit and miss but you just have to keep looking. So next time you're out and come across a charity shop go inside and see what you find.
It's also good to volunteer in a charity shop as you will see the donations first and get first look which is even better. It's also a good way of meeting new people and getting out the house for a few hours. If you're unemployed then this will look good on your CV.
