BLOGTOBER DAY 10: FRAGILE X SYNDROME AWARENESS DAY

Today's post is all about Fragile X awareness day! as it's in October I thought I would mix it up and share my experiences, struggles and facts about Fragile X. I was diagnosed at 8 years old with Fragile X Syndrome which is a learning disability. This means I struggle with maths, shyness, being social/making eye contact and finding a job to name a few things.
Important Facts
1. Fragile X is the most common cause of inherited learning disability.
2. About 160,000 people are affected by Fragile x Syndrome.
3. Fragile X Syndrome affects boys more than girls.
4. It's found in 4,000 males and about one in every 8,000 females
5. Fragile X Syndrome is a genetic condition that can cause delays in learning, language and social skills. It can also cause autism.
